Out For a Bike Ride....Munich to Istanbul

After 4 months in Africa, we'll re-join western civilization in the form of Munich and Austria, patching up any broken bikes while we have the chance. We'll give the biking legs a week or so break and head down to the northern Italian Alps with my friend Harald to do some Klettersteig, or, as the Italians call it, Ferretara. Basically it's minor rock climbing with fixed cables and such to clip into.

Back in Munich, we get back on the bikes and head for Istanbul. This involves going through Austria, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria, and possibly something else I'm forgetting before we hit Istanbul for the first time. We should have a few weeks left before our flight to Delhi, and will wander around the Mediterranean coast as time permits.
